Ted Lasso fans have been loving the new addition to Richmond AFC – the one and only Zava! The role of the iconic footballer is played by New Amsterdam star Maximilian Osinski, and fans have been enjoying seeing him as the larger-than-life premiere league footballer who helps to rise Richmond through the league table – but what do you know about the star when the cameras are turned off?
The actor is actually married to a very famous star, who also plays a major role in an Apple TV+ show! Dichen Lachman is currently starring in the hugely popular show Severance as Ms Casey, a mysterious wellness director working at Lumon Industries.
The couple are hugely supportive of one another on social media, with Dichen recently stepping out with her husband to celebrate Ted Lasso season three. Sharing a snap of herself with Max at the premiere, she wrote: "I’ve not been this excited for a long time." Max also regularly shares snaps of Dichen, including a sweet black and white one with a caption which read: "#tbt To an #la #noir night out with my better half. She’s usually staring deep into my eyes, not her #phone."
The pair share one daughter, Mathilda, and the pair often snaps of their family time together, including a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy back in July 2022. We're jealous!

Fans have been loving Max's character in the hit show, with one writing: " I’m sorry but the funniest part about this scene was 100% every time Zava stepped in front of Ted completely and Ted inches smoothly to the side #Tedlasso." Another person added: "Another great episode of #TedLasso! Everything with Zava was fantastic (especially Dani being a total fanboy)! Jamie was fantastic once again and I love seeing his growth this season. Also, his correcting Beard (hypocrite vs. ironic) was incredible!"
